This painting came about once again from a favourite pastime of playing with the simple line. Through expanding….narrowing….erasing…merging there resulted a humorous optical illusion: an abstract "portrait". Also, an irresistible play on words!
It has become a surreal art piece; developed with acrylic paint and the use of resin to indicate somewhat the cellophane wrapper enclosing a sweet. The colours might reflect the alluring aspect of candy.
It is signed on the reverse.
