A series of glazes using a limited palette of acrylic paint and medium have resulted in a subtle deep toned still life. The title points to one of the eggs as cracked - can it be used?. I enjoy entering a lighthearted note into a painting when I can. The style has been inspired by looking at the work of Rembrandt and his wonderful use of light and dark.
It is signed and dated on the reverse, and has been professionally mounted in a wooden frame by our in-studio framers.
